The product is manufactured to ISO9002 standards using high quality materials. Both the factory and products have undergone rigorous tests and compliance procedures. These were carried out by recognised testing houses such as Intertek, SGS, Bureau Veritas and ARPANSA.
When Joan Bree from Dublin, Ireland, came up with the idea for the Cush’n Shade® it took her career as an international pub designer in an exciting new direction. The insights and experience gained from designing and managing Irish Pub refurbishments overseas, proved invaluable when launching a new product globally. Her son Jamie Jenkinson took the business to another level when he secured offers from three of the panel on the BBC programme “Dragons Den”. Since then the Cush’n Shade® has continued to pop up on beaches all over the world.
