When buying from resellers on auction sites such as eBay please be wary of prices which seem “too good to be true.” Sellers of counterfeit products, using the Cush’n Shade® name and similar packaging often offer their version for sale at discounted prices. Please be mindful that these copycat products have not gone through any testing and their shades will provide little or NO UV protection which is very dangerous to the users face and gives a false sense of protection. We suggest you use your ‘best judgement’ and purchase from established and well known companies as well as companies you frequently buy from.
Most retailers are aware of the penalties for carrying counterfeit products .They are fully aware that the products will be seized leaving the retailer to suffer loss of income and loss of confidence with customers. Most importantly, if you purchase from unofficial sources you run the risk of receiving counterfeit goods which have not passed through our rigorous developmental and production processes and which may harm your customers.
We have recently become aware of websites offering counterfeit Cush’n Shade® products for sale. These units may appear genuine ( because they also copy our images) but what you will receive is not a real Cush’n Shade® and it will not have been tested. These counterfeiters are attempting to deceive you by purporting to be suppliers of the Cush’n Shade® – they are not!
DO NOT BUY FROM these sites or companies advertising on these sites (they are selling a counterfeit Cush’n Shade)
