I used to find sunbathing for any extended period intolerable. I love reading but could never get comfortable trying to read while I was lying out. I took a cushnshade on holiday for the first time this year; I completely chilled out, got through 3 books in a week, got a lovely tan and annoyed the rest of my family far less than I usually do with my whinging!

I found the cushnshade quick and easy to assemble and it's really light - I won't be going on a sun holiday again without it!

This is an excellent product. I needed to shade my face on a recent holiday to Rhodes. I couldn't have got anything better than the Cush'n Shade. It was brilliant. It did what it was supposed to do as well as keeping my head and face cool without having to wear a hat and sunglasses. I was asked a few times where I got it from. I wish I had known about it sooner !!!!!! Well done.

I stumbled on the cush n shade while looking for something at Kmart online. After reading about it I had to buy one immediately. Finally I found something that protects my face/neck from the sun. I love to sunbathe, but now I'm 46 I look after my face/neck more than I did when I was alot younger. This is an answer to my prayers, I LOVE IT!!!!!
When I ordered it online, I had no idea that it was adjustable (guess I missed that part), you can adjust it to exactly where you want it, you can even shade your chest if you feel it getting too much sun. When the sun moves, you adjust your shade accordingly. I hate wearing a hat, my head gets too hot and it really doesn't shade my face. I use SPF every day on my face/neck but still worry if it's getting too much sun. Now, I can tan my body, relax and enjoy for as long as I like. Oh, and like another reviewer said, I can read without sunglasses or squinting. This is the best thing I've purchased in a long time. I love it so much that I'm sharing the link to their site on my facebook page.
P.S. I live on the top of a hill and it gets very windy in my back garden, I have no problem at all with it blowing away or moving. I even leave it on my sun lounger when I'm not sunbathing and it hasn't moved, it's exactly where I left it!

bought one of these for benidorm, its £4 euros per day for a shade over the sunbeds, rip off, so this is ideal. bargain for the price

Does just what I want it to do - keep the sun off my face!

I am so pleased with this little gadget. I love to read whilst laying in the sun and this product is perfect for keeping the sun out of my eyes and preventing me from squinting. Now I can read in the sun, in comfort, without having to wear uncomfortable peaked caps, or glasses that continually slip down my nose. More added bonuses are that there's less chance of skin damage to my face and my hair will also be protected against drying out by the sun. This item is also a must have for anyone who has a bald head. It is a doddle to assemble and really does only take seconds to put together. It also fits neatly into its own carry bag for complete portability. Brilliant!

I bought my cush n shade 6 years ago at the holiday show in Manchester. I have taken it all over Europe, and the Middle East, and having just returned from Egypt, where I had many enquiries about my shade, felt I wanted to leave a long overdue review.

I love this product, I have fair skin, and cannot stand the sun on my head, this gives me protection from the sun, and allows me to read without being blinded by the sun too. I can vouch for the longevity of this product, which has been well used for 6 years and is still going strong.

Only problem i found , maybye the durability of the product with lot of use.

great product any chance of you bring one out with a larger canopy for us really pale skinned soles that love the heat but not the direct sun.

It is a really great product. I am 45+ and my days of having my face in full sun, all day, are gone! I also have dyed hair and as I get too hot with a hat on all the time this stops my highlights from going orange!

has transformed my sunbathing

I recently purchased two cush 'n shades and am pleased to say the service was speedy and the products are fantastic. I have used them constantly when the sun is out here and for someone who doesn't like the sun on her face and head, it's brilliant. It eliviates the need to wear a hat and I can read without squinting. Would strongly recommend.

This is one of the most useful items I have ever bought - does exactly what it says....enables reading etc without having to sit in the shade! Wouldnt be without it now!

I have had my Cush n Shade for 3 years now and love it! Light, easy to put together and so useful. Never liked umbrella's as they shade whole body and I only like my head out of the sun so this is perfect! Just been to Ibiza and had loads of people ask me where I got it - so hopefully, lots more sales!

hello-I recently took my cush n shade on a cruise and it was really great as there is no other shade on the sun decks - I was constantly asked (every few minutes) what is was and where I got it from - I am sure that if you sold the cush n shade on cruise ships you would sell 000's and the shade could even be printed with the cruise company logos-therefore why not try marketing them to to cruise companies? if you have any success with this perhaps you could let me have a £ 1 commision per unit sold for coming up with the idea ! thanks -John

Although I have not received my cushnshade yet, the service I received from this company was excellent, all because I made a mistake in ordering the wrong colour. They have helped me solve my problem with no questions asked and even though I paid for the lowere rate of postage the item was delivered within two days. Well done I will review again on the producet when received.

I am 87 years old and am absolutely thrilled with my cush n shade.
It slips neatly into a pocket in my lounger mattress and I take it everywhere I go when planning to sit outside.
Now all I have to do is order one each for my grandchildren and great-grandchildren..... for fear of losing mine!

I've had my cush n shade for about two years now and would'nt go on holiday without it, having had a skin cancer removed from my face three years ago it's a definate must and i would recommend it to anyone with the same problem, your face still gets a nice tan and high protection whilst sitting under the shade

I bought this item last year 2009 during the summer that we did'nt get. I took it on holiday to Majorca and everyone that saw it thought it was BRILLIANT. I also took it to SHARM EL SHIEKH in March this year 2010 and the guy on the beach couldn't get over how good it was , also everyone around the pool wanted one . Its certainly one of the best things that i have bought, and it does exactly what it says and protects your face .I hope anyone who reads this ,gets satisfaction like my daughter (she has one too) and myself have done.

This product did everything it promised on the packet and I was really pleased when I took it on holiday. It provided relief from the sun and stood up to a breezy week on the coast. Handy item!
I bought these to take on holidays, I think they will be very handy if all the parasols have been taken. I will be able to read in the shade but still tan my body.

A Must Have
We holiday abroad a lot and my husband always gets a burnt scalp, sun tan lotion can stain his silver white hair (bless) this product enables him to read , and still enjoy the sun. very easy to pack in suitcase.

Fab Idea
This cushion shade is a great idea, perfectly portable for taking on holidays and great for on my sun lounger in the garden. I have been able to read my book without screwing up my eyes and keeps sun off my head.

Though since purchasing this item the weather has gone down hill. However it was used. easy to operate and does what it says on the package.

Worth it!
I don’t need to wear sunglasses when reading a book. My head doesn’t get too hot either so I don’t overheat or need to wear a hat.
